Program description:

The program is designed to deepen bachelor’s program on English linguistics. Students will develop critical thinking skills while studying communicative competence (linguistic, pragmatic, sociolinguistic and strategic) from corpus linguistics perspectives. The focus will also be on the methodology of teaching, curricular design and language assessment. The program will prepare students to become future teachers and scholars in English linguistics. English (the main language) and either Japanese or Chinese or Korean (on student’s choice) will be taught in this program so that students can pursue their career abroad, including eastern countries.
